Nice Meeting You Again, Glacyl

November 17, 2017
Tokyo Ice Café, Mall of Asia

If I can remember correctly, this was our first time to hangout together because during our college days, we don't. We see each other at school classrooms but that's it. 10 years after college, this happened.
It all started from our Facebook messenger group were all Accounting Tech Major batchmates were gathered, just recently. Some responded, some leaved the group (suplado y suplada na, mayayaman na kc eh).

We talked about work and a lot of things. Until Glacyl asked me if I know something that she's interested to learn. Yeah, right, some things can't be learned at school. Most of them can be learned at work. Lucky you if your officemate are willing to teach you what they know because some, don't.

And because of this, I get to bond with her for the first time and hopefully, to some others too because it's always nice to reunite with your former classmates. And hopefully, not the last. Maybe next time, bring your husband too. I definitely won't forget this meeting because I got shocked with the keyboard. Hahaha.. Did you notice the keyboard? LOL!

By the way, thanks for the treat, Glace, nakakahiya tuloy.

About the Food
Glacyl ordered Chicken Karaage Ala Carte for PHP250.00 with Coffee Halo-halo for PHP190.00 and I ordered Chiken Teriyake Ala Carte for PHP240.00 with Mango Halo-halo for PHP195.00 because I love chicken and mango plus rice (PHP20.00). Both chicken are too oily that's why Glacyl were not able to finish her food. But because of the very strong flavor of Teriyaki sauce that compliments the chicken a lot, I liked it. There's something in Halo-halo that I don't like, whatever it is, the more kinakain mo sya. nawawala na ung inayawan mo kya masarap na din. It's more of an ice cream with mango than a halo-halo. All in all, it's good.

A Very Sad Homecoming!

August 02, 2014
Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Terminal 3

This is the saddest homecoming ever. I will be going home coz I've received an SMS and calls yesterday at 1507H that my father is in the hospital and about to send to ICU, 3 hours later, at 1853H another SMS received informing me that he's gone. I don't know what to say coz the last time I saw him was a year ago. This was the time was also he was confined in the hospital with the same illness. And this was also the time I said to myself that I will be staying for good but a traumatic experience happened. I'm not that showy of how much I love them. A typical problem with poor family like us who don't tell "I love you" to each other coz it will sound awkward coz you haven't raised to expressly say the words.

Later in the evening, I watched Pinoy Big Brother All-In in iwantv.com.ph where in Loisa was given by Kuya a YOLO (You Only Live Once) challenge to face her fear and as a reward, she will meet her mother and get a chance to express her true feelings to her mother. It made my cry coz I can definitely relate to it.

As always, other people tell us that we have say "I love you" to them before they'll gone. How can I help it if it really wasn't your upbringing? I may have regretted the days that I haven't expressly told him that I love him but being shy and feeling awkward, maybe I can't complain more.

I love you, Tay. I know that its already too late, but for me, never too late.

The ABS-CBN Mobile Retailers Convention 2014

June 19, 2014
Mall Of Asia Arena, Pasay City

Having the slogan of "Swak Sa'yo Kapamilya!" This event was organized in one way of thanking the retailers and at the same time to educate the others how to load and how much they'll earn in selling ABS-CBN Mobile promo loads. It has load of freebies, raffles and games for everyone. Unfortunately, I was not able to participate in any games and did not even win the raffle. However, I was able to take home a t-shirt + snacks.

So much fun meeting with my officemates again. Kinda shy but go, here I am, don't mind anything but ready to watch the Kapamilya stars to perform live.

I was able to see Alex Gonzaga, Jason Gainza and Slater Young (hosts)
+ Jacob Benedicto, Chevin Cecilio, Ranty Portento, Aina Solano, Axel Torres and Cess Mae Visitacion of Pinoy Big Brother All-In Ex-housemates

Linkin Park Living Things World Tour

August 13, 2013
Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City

Actually, I joined the facebook and twitter contest by Scala Events ‏ hoping to win a pair of tickets to Linkin Park Living Things World Tour, just like Carly Rae Jepsen's concert ticket twitter contest, but this time I did not win. But I must say, the things you wish might come along in a different form. This time, we got a pair of tickets from a friend's officemate, take note, it is in Lower Box A that is worth PHP6,880.00 how cool is that, huh? It was located very near to the stage. Sweet!

The concert was superb! They play all our favorite songs. Wow, I can't say anything but thank you, Linkin Park for a great two-and-a-half hour of rock-n-roll show. You guys are all awesome! You did not disappoint your audience. Hope to see you again soon in Manila, a little bit sooner than 9 years. I can't imagine that their last visit here in the Philippines was in June 15, 2004.

Thanks also to Urbandub for the front-act!

Things to remember when going to a concert (specially in MOA Arena):
1. Do not bring a huge bag/back pack. If you do, they want you to leave your bag outside then claim it after the show. So for a thousands of people claiming their bags, don't expect to be going home early.
2. Do not bring professional camera coz you can't take them inside not unless you sponsored the event. Good thing, I do not have one!

Dinner at Chiken Bonchon - PHP95 (Thigh Ricebox 1pc, if you need extra rice - PHP15)
Thousands of people wanting to be served first in claiming their bags!

Some says, Boracay was just an overrated place but for me it was not. Boracay is really a paradise that all Filipino shouldn't miss. It was being recognized all over the world, I just hope every Filipinos should see Boracay first, before going outside the Country.

My appreciation with nature or beauty of beaches is just very limited because I can only count my fingers where I've been to. But I must say, if Boracay will be my setting standard of beaches, I can now hardly find anywhere else in the world to beat Boracay. But I won't do that because I still believe that every beaches has it's own beauty to be appreciated.
